By car: Cabo Frio is less than 100 miles, 2 hour drive away (depends on the traffic) from Rio de Janeiro. Follow the signs for Niteroi, after the 13km Rio-Niterói bridge make a left in direction of Rio Bonito, about 50km. Then take a right (Via Lagos) following the sign Araruama / Cabo Frio (Região dos Lagos). Continue for another 70kms past Araruama and Sao Pedro. In Cabo Frio reach the first & only round-about on this highway (WV Casal car dealership). Go straight following the sign to Airport and Arraial do Cabo for exactly 2km, look for sign "Pousada Laguna" on your right and turn left at Av. dos Pássaros, left again at the beach front street, Rua dos Atobas, we are just 100 meters (yards) away.
